Art at Hadlow Rural Community School strives to deliver a creative, inspiring and enriching curriculum that ensures all students have an opportunity to create, analyse and appreciate a variety of art forms both traditional and contemporary. The study of fine art and design can help pupils to develop technical skill and fluency. Students have the opportunity to develop skills and understanding in a range of media areas including; drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture and digital media. Students learn about artists, styles and movements including traditional European art and post-modern work. Our aim is to achieve outstanding and innovative teaching to produce unique and personal outcomes of the highest standards.
