Rural Business Group Meetings

The Rural Business Development & Advancement Group (RBDAG) is for those running or working in, wishing to enter a rural sector industry - including  entrepreneurs looking to set up or develop an existing rural business -, students and those with an interest in the sector.  The group enables members to gain an insight/extend their existing knowledge of a range of rural industries; to investigate new skills; to enhance existing ones and to build a network of contacts. It also provides help and advice for businesses, assists employers to locate employees and aids those seeking jobs to obtain employment.

Currently RBDAG has approximately 250 members. Membership is free and without age or academic barriers.  The age range of members is 11 – 86 and includes people with Professorships and Doctorates, affording vital networking opportunities.

The meetings are open to everyone from Year 9 students upwards, their parents and families – anyone who has an interest in the rural sector.
