Andrew Wickenden

Name is Andrew Wickenden I am married with two children and live locally to HRCS  having lived here all my life. After completing education which was within the Tonbridge schools I progressed to towards Military service followed by a 25 year career within a multi-national company with interests in food consumables, household, fashion, and well being products. My career path has given me the opportunity to manage a portfolio of National Accounts maintaining strategic planning, marketing, advertising budgets, public speaking, profit and training programs.

Growing up within the Scouting Organisation provided opportunities to participate in outdoor activities including fell walking and completing the Three Peaks Challenge on three  occasions. I also enjoy photography, plus I have been known to play squash, golf and complete the London,Paris, and Maidstone Marathons in my younger years. More recently I have fund raised in excess of over £10,000 for numerous Heart Charities by completing road cycling sportive’s across the UK.

Being a Parent Governor at HRCS provides a platform and vehicle of communication in what I believe in passionately which is providing all our young people equal opportunities to succeed in life by Aspiring, Self Believe, and ultimately Achieve their own goals. These objectives should be made possible by providing a safe varied, and enjoyable environment to learn and be taught.
