Sausage Making - Enrichment, September 2019

On Monday 16th September some of our students made their own sausages, working together in groups of 4 they created their own unique recipe. The students cut, minced and produced their sausages to take home and cook for their dinner!

Sports Day 2019

On Friday 12th July we held our annual Sports Day, this was a great day that was enjoyed by students, parents and staff.

On Friday 14th June the students finished their last GCSE and were able to enjoy the school prom, a great time was had by all!

Young Enterprise - West Kent Area Finals 2019

Year 10 Business students competed at the Young Enterprise Finals Event on 29th April. They competed against Year 12 students from Grammar and Independent schools. Their speeches were well prepared and very well presented. On the spot interviews conducted by panels of judges were confidently answered. They displayed equal ability, knowledge and professionalism to their competitors.

Gatwick Careers Event 2019

On Thursday 28th of March Gatwick Airport and BAE Systems visited HRCS, as we hosted a Careers Fair. We were joined by other schools to enjoy a day of activities, with a particular focus on Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths.

2018 Prize Giving Evening

On 6th December staff, pupils and their parents and some of our sponsors joined us for Hadlow Rural Community School's first Annual Prize Giving Event. Students were nominated by their tutors for both subject and personal achievement awards which were generously sponsored.
